In order to mobilize and promote the technological exchange and innovation of the institute, and cultivate the young technical backbone, the "50-member group of Guangdong Urban & Rural Planning and Design Institute" was established in January 2018 after the organization and planning by the Chief Engineering Office.

On the afternoon of February 9th, 2018, the first exchange activity of the "50-member group of Guangdong Urban & Rural Planning and Design Institute" was held in the activity room on the third floor of the institute. The activity meeting was chaired by the chief engineer Ma Xiangming. Dean Qiu Yanqing, Secretary Qian Zhongqiang, Deputy Dean Wang Hao and Deputy Chief Planner Li Jianping attended the meeting.

The exchange was conducted in the activity with the keywords such as the entry time, project experience, professional expertise, and the research plan in 2018. In the course of the activity, all members made excellent speeches with the combination of professional background and project practice, which won the wonderful comments by Dean Mr. Qiu and Chief Engineer Mr. Ma.

In the end, the institute leadership spoke highly of the activity and believed that it has not only promoted the mutual understanding of the technical backbones, but more importantly, opened up a good beginning for subsequent exchanges through the sharing of ideas in different fields and different specialties.
